Act 1 and Act 2 now is the best choice for farming legendary item in patch 1.0.8.
This is my route for act1: Festering wood -> field of misery -> weeping hollow -> hall of agony 2 and jail area
And this is for act2: Vault of Assassin -> Desolate Sands -> Dahlgur Oasis -> Eastern Channel -> Western Channel
Some tips to increase your legendary drop chance:
- Farming with full party
- Always keep your Nephalem Valor at 5 stacks
- Best Magic Find stats is above 350
- Kill monster fast as you can.
- Lure a big crowd of monsters
